It is a privilege and honour to welcome you to Ghaf School for the 2023-24 academic year. This website provides you with a quick reference to who we are and what we do.

Ghaf School is a school with a difference. It is an ‘East meets West’ fusion of learning and values. We are small enough to be family-centered and committed to providing personalised education of the highest quality to each one of our young learners from FS 1 – Year 8. We are an inclusive school where every child matters, whatever their ability or ethnicity.
Our ethos and broad UK and international curriculum ensure that our student are value-driven creative, independent, inquiry-based learners, thinkers and achievers. They can apply knowledge and skills in innovative ways to solve real-world problems and meet the challenges and opportunities of the mid-21st century. If COVID-19 has taught us anything, it is the importance of being able to adapt to change, manage uncertainty, review our priorities and recognise that our challenges are global. GPS students will be taught to ‘think outside the box’, to adapt to new circumstances, collaboratively as well as competitively, not only during their time in school but throughout their lives.
We dedicate ourselves to enabling children to achieve their full potential as engaged learners who enjoy coming to school and want to participate in the adventure of discovering new knowledge, acquiring new skills and being part of a vibrant learning community.

The curriculum delivered through our exciting, creative and innovative approaches ensures that our students make progress whatever their abilities, interests and talents.

Our approach to learning is less about finding the right answers to questions of ‘what?’ and ‘when?’, but more about asking the right questions: ‘how?’ ‘why?’ and ‘what if…?’

Learning is a journey, a process in achieving milestones along the way. These are just as important as the product or destination. We want our students to embrace an ‘I can’ mind-set, to learn the importance of perseverance, to become life-long learners, adapting knowledge and skills in innovative ways to solve the problems of the future, through understanding the past and how it has shaped the present.

If you enjoy what you see on our website, please accept our open invitation to visit us – your first step in making GPS your school of choice – affordable, inclusive, quality-assured and forward-looking.
