School Fees & Payment

GPS, Ghaf Primary School tuition fees are set in accordance with the fee structure set by GPS, and as approved by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).

Registration Deposit

This deposit is payable after the student has been offered a place and parents have accepted the offer.  The registration deposit is 10% of the total tuition fees, and is deductible from the total tuition fees for the academic year.  Please note, this is a non-refundable deposit.

Re-Registration Deposit (Existing Students)

This deposit is payable at the time of enrollment to guarantee a place for the following academic year.  The Re-registration deposit is 5% of the total tuition fees, and is deductible from the total tuition fees for the academic year.  Please note, this is a non-refundable deposit.

Fee Structure for the Academic Year 2021-2022

Note: All students registered with the Founding Fee will enjoy the same benefits as long as they stay enrolled with GPS.

Late Payment Fee: A fee of AED 250 will be applied for any late payments of Tuition Fees.

If a student joins in the school during the course of the academic year, the school can charge tuition fees starting from the beginning of the month of enrollment.

Sibling Discount:  10% discount (for the second child) and 15% discount (for the third child & above).

One-time full payment discount: avail 5% discount on applicable fees of academic year 2020-2021, when you pay the full payment onetime.

Payment of Fees

You may pay the school fees by cheque, credit card or cash at the school accountant office, also you may prefer to do the payment through any of the other two payment methods:

  • Direct bank transfer
  • Online payment, pay through link “Call school accountant for details”.

Payment Confirmation:

Once the payment is made, the confirmation notice will be sent via email within 24 hours of the receipt.

Fee Refund Policy:

Registration, deposit, and re-enrolment fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

However, tuition fee refunds follow the Ministry of Education Bylaws for Private Education. (KHDA Fee Framework)

  • If a student withdraws prior to the start of the academic year, the balance of the first term's fees paid will be refunded, except for the registration and deposit fees. 
  • If a student withdraws during the school year, the registration fees and deposit fee are non-refundable and the remaining tuition is refunded in accordance with the Ministry of Education Bylaws for refund payments. 
  • If a student attends school for two weeks or less, one full month's fee will be charged.
  • If a student attends school for more than two weeks, but less than one month, two full month's fees will be charged.
  • If a student attends school for more than one month, the entire term fees will be charged.

’Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment and will be processed within 10 to 45 days depends on the issuing bank of the credit card.”

Online Payment Cancelation:

Customer can cancel their requested services within 24 hours; refunds will be made back to the payment solution used initially by the customer. Please allow for up to 45days for the refund transfer to be completed.

Note: Please clearly mention your child name, and cover any of the bank charges.
